Contest alert: Sweet songs!

It’s finally March and with it arrives maple time! Open every weekend (and holidays) through to April 9th 2012 as well as all March Break long, we consider our maple festivals to be one of the sweetest times of year – pun intended!

Two festivals, two locations -and if you choose to go the same day- one park admission per person!

Mountsberg Conservation Area’s Maple Towne features  a working sugar bush that’s a unique must-see for locals and tourist alike.

Crawford Lake Conservation Area offers the Sweetwater Festival where you can learn how maple sugar was made in an Iroquoian Village over 600 years ago. Of course, you’ll be able to sample maple cornbread and maple taffy. Yum.
